Assistant/Associate Professor - Software Engineering

An earned doctorate in Software Engineering or a related discipline is required; qualified candidates are sought in Software Engineering, with teaching and research interests in Fundamentals of Software Design and Development, Software Verification/Validation, Computer Architecture, Distributed Systems, Game and Application Development, and other pertinent fields. Excellent experimental abilities are necessary along with appropriate analytical and computational skills, versatile research record, and/or industrial experience; ability to teach in multiple areas will be preferred.

Candidates are expected to pursue a program of research in their fields of expertise, seek funded research and publish in peer-reviewed journals, and display a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching in an educational program that emphasizes experiential learning. The successful candidate will have also demonstrated significant oral and written communication skills necessary for interdisciplinary collaboration with colleagues in Engineering, Mathematics and Science.
